In 2008 I graduated from Rowan University with a double bachelors degree in Communications (Public Relations & Advertising).I interned then worked for the Philadelphia Flyers for three years and loved it but with the spectrum closing down jobs were being cut and mine was one. Afterward I worked for a year as political director for a county democratic party. I ran over 8 campaigns one being a multi-million dollar campaign, all 8 ended in victory for my candidates. After the last race I realized that this wasn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. So I decided to go pursue a different career.
I returned to Rowan in September 2009 as an Elementary Education and Writing Arts Major. I plan to graduate December 2011. When I graduate I will have four bachelors degrees. It is an accomplishment I will be very proud of.
I currently work full-time (besides being in school) as a preschool teacher. My class is all 2 years old and I love it. I know that teaching is what I was destin to do. I want to teach older children but this is a great experience. I have to create lesson plans and assessments and teach.
Even with that busy schedule I am also planning for my August 2012 wedding as well. I got engaged to my high school sweetheart this past Christmas Eve. We are also parents to two amazing 5 month old Cockapoo puppies who are just the greatest.
I am excited to see what adventures lie ahead for me in this class.
